This is Chea. Ridiculed by her classmates for her inability to hear or speak, Chea left primary school after just a few months, and was 18 before she learned to read, write, and speak sign language.

This is Sirina. She comes from a family of 17 children, only one of whom has ever set foot in school. Desperate for work and with a limited skill set, Sirina sought recruitment with Alaffia and was accepted.

Guler Sucu, pictured left, helped create the characteristic fringes on the Turkish Towel coming in your Bathe Box. Each fringe supports some cost of her home, whether a school book for her children or firewood for the stove.
