To connect headphones to the TV via Bluetooth, you need to pair the headphones with the TV. Here, we will pair the TV and headphones.

Applicable products

TVs that can connect to Bluetooth audio devices are limited to Google TV and Android TV models that support the A2DP profile.
For Google TV and Android TV models that support the A2DP profile and supported headphones, refer to the What Bluetooth headphones, speakers, and sound bars can I use with a Google TV or Android TV? article.

Step 1: Set the headphones to pairing mode

The procedure to set to pairing mode varies depending on your headphones. Here, we describe how to set headphones made by Sony to pairing mode. For details, refer to the manual of the product.

  • Truly wireless type

    Example: For WF-1000XM3
When you open the charging case and take out the headphones (L/R), they turn on automatically and the indicator flash.
When you wear them and touch and hold the left and right touch sensors at the same time for about seven seconds, you will hear the voice guidance Bluetooth Pairing from the left side, and the headphones will go into pairing mode.
