MONDAY, AUG. 19

STONEGATE COURT — A man advised his brother would come to the property and be a hassle.

MONDAY, AUG. 19

BROWN STREET — Complainant reported a family disturbance. Charges filed at large for terroristic threat of family/household for threats made the day prior.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE — A tree branch fell onto patrol vehicle while parked at deputy’s residence. Damaged vehicle report was completed.

U.S. 81/287 SOUTHBOUND — Complainant advised that a ditch witch was stolen from a job site over the weekend and was last seen Friday night.

U.S. 81/287 NORTHBOUND (PARADISE QUICK STOP) — Complainant requested a report for insurance purposes in reference a vehicle fire two days ago that caused damage to the gas pumps and canopy.

COUNTY ROAD 4838 — Complainant reported a verbal road rage incident, and neither party were still on scene.

TEXAS 114 — A man wanted to report a truck which he left at the above address a year ago stolen.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 21

U.S. 380 — Deputies met with a bounty hunter who advised a man who was wanted out of Denton PD and Tarrant County was inside of the residence and refused to come out. Deputies made entry and placed the man in custody for the warrants. The man was transported to the WCSO jail without incident.

MEDICAL CITY DRIVE — An unknown man dropped off a middle-aged woman at Medical City Decatur, and within 14 minutes, the patient had passed away after complaining of breathing issues. Deputies contacted investigators.

COUNTY ROAD 4681 — A woman advised someone forged her signature on a check which was supposed to be given to her.

TEXAS 114 EAST — A known woman who frequents the RV park was asked several times to leave. Deputies made scene and attempted to assist the woman with leaving, but she refused. The woman was placed into custody and transported to Wise County Jail.

FARM ROAD 730 SOUTH — Complainant contacted 911 due to her husband assaulting her repeatedly from the residence in Azle to just south of Boyd. She was finally able to exit the vehicle once the suspect realized that she had called 911. Suspect continued northbound as victim began walking southbound towards Azle.

THURSDAY, AUG. 22

PRIVATE ROAD 4904 — A man dialed 911 to report his girlfriend going crazy and attacking him. Deputies arrived and spoke with all parties involved. Deputies observed visible injuries on the complainant and placed the girlfriend in custody.

PALO DURO BEND — A woman stated her husband grabbed her and threw her to the ground during an argument, causing her pain and discomfort in her back. Emergency protective order was completed, and a charge of assault causes bodily injury family member was filed at large.

CHAMBERS STREET — Complainant advised a man’s vehicle was at the residence, and he had an active emergency protective order. Deputy arrived and made contact with the man who advised he was told to come over to work on things with his wife. Deputy placed the man into custody and transported him to jail.

COUNTY ROAD 3424 — Complainant advised sometime between July and Aug. 22 someone stole all the components to their electric gate opener.

FRIDAY, AUG. 23

COUNTY ROAD 1550 — A verbal argument occurred over the complainant’s autistic son misbehaving inside of the residence. The complainant stated she was moving out the following day. Both parties were referred to the constable’s office for a civil-standby during the move out to avoid further issues.

COUNTY ROAD 4699 — A man fell from a platform. Deputies provided scene security while the man was transported by air to JPS for further medical attention.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE — A 72-year-old man reported he had mail stolen from his mailbox.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE — A woman had multiple apartment leases acquired in her name using a forged Texas Driver’s License and Social Security card without her consent.

U.S. 81/287 — A person was belligerent, throwing things and was intoxicated after consuming a bottle of whiskey. The individual refused to identify himself and was arrested for public intoxication and failure to identify.

COUNTY ROAD 4756 — Caller wanted to report an assault for her sister-in-law, but parties had conflicting stories. The actual victim was in a state of shock from the loss of her husband the day before. Victim stated she doesn’t remember if she was attacked by her mother-in-law or if she attacked the mother-in-law. Deputy collected a statement and asked the alleged victim if she could come to the sheriff’s office if she remembered anything in the morning.

COUNTY ROAD 3051 — A man stated the water was shut off to the barn, and he was worried his horses would not have water. Deputy spoke with the property owner and advised the horses would need water in the extreme temperatures.

SATURDAY, AUG. 24

BANJO TRAIL — A woman advised she and her brother were involved in a verbal altercation, which escalated into a physical fight. Complainant also advised she felt head pain from being pushed down.

U.S. 81/287 SOUTHBOUND AT COUNTY ROAD 1793 — A driver was visibly intoxicated. Deputy was unable to perform field sobriety tests due to the man’s refusal. Deputy placed him in custody, and the man refused to submit to any further tests. Due to judges not being available, no blood draw was taken. While at Medical City Decatur the man resisted arrest, search or transport, and deputy had to strike the man to gain his compliance.

COUNTY ROAD 3671 — Complainant advised his underage friend consumed a large amount of alcohol and was unresponsive. Juvenile was transported to Medical City Decatur for further treatment.

SUNDAY, AUG. 25

BROCK LANE — A man advised he believed an Amazon delivery truck driver struck the southwest side of a building on his property.

JOSEPH DRIVE — Deputies responded to a medical emergency. It was reported an 84-year-old man fell and was unconscious. Medics transported the man to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

HARBOR DRIVE — A woman reported her 15-year-old son missing. Deputies were able to locate the juvenile. The juvenile was released to grandparents due to the mother being intoxicated.

NORTH COUNTY LINE ROAD — Complainant was having issues with her brother who was trying to contact her. Complainant did not wish to pursue harassment charges, but wished to have criminal trespass warning issued to her brother and his fiancé from her property.

MONDAY, AUG. 26

COUNTY ROAD 4270 — A woman stated her grandson was suspended from Decatur High School on the morning of Aug. 26. When they got home, the juvenile ran away from home on foot. He was last seen wearing a teal T-shirt, black shorts and black shoes. Pertinent information was gathered, and the juvenile was entered into a missing person database. Juvenile was reported as missing two hours after running away. The immediate area was searched, and the juvenile has still not been found.
