Does God say I'm good enough?
I'm making you into the image of my son, Jesus (Eph. 2:10: Rom. 8:28). I've called you, and I've already made you “good enough.” Even when you make mistakes, I'm working something good in you through the experience.

According to Jesus, no one is good or can be good enough to meet God's expectations. That is why we needed Jesus. If we could be good enough on our own without Jesus, then he would not have had to come and die.
(Romans 6:23) The truth is that none of us has lived a life that meets, much less surpasses God's expectations; we don't deserve a reward from God for what we've done. The only thing we truly deserve to hear is: depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Why do I feel like I am not good enough for God?
It is a common idea that you need to be perfect to be acceptable to God. The trouble with that is that none of us is perfect. We have all made mistakes and done things wrong. Perhaps we have let someone down, or hurt someone, or have developed habits or a way of life which we know are destructive, but cannot stop.
This means obedience to God is simply submitting and following His command and authority. It is recognizing God as the highest authority, putting that authority before your own, and willingly choosing to follow God's rules and regulations instead of your own.
Those who turn to Jesus Christ, putting their faith for redemption in Him, will be saved, and able to go to heaven because they accepted that Jesus paid the debt for their sins, and that it is paid in full.
God blessing people has nothing to do with what we do or say. He blesses who He wants when He wants and how He wants. Sometimes He blesses those who are not saved, and sometimes He blesses us even though we have grieved Him.
The gift is based on who you are, not what you've done. You don't earn an inheritance; you simply receive it. In the same way, God's greatest blessings are given to us, not because we've earned them, but simply because we are children of God.
You are extremely valuable to God. He even said in Isaiah 43:4, “You are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you” (ESV). Why are you so valuable to him? One, you are valuable because God is your Father, and you are his child.

It is important to know why you might not feel good enough, but it is even more important to look forward rather than back into the past. Moses allowed his low self-esteem to overshadow God's greatness so completely that nothing, not even his faith in God's greatness, could compete. Self-esteem didn't need to be an issue, if only Moses had focused on God.
