I had the opportunity to represent SENIS Group, Switzerland at the Swissloop sponsor event 2024 at Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich#SENIS sponsors #Swissloop a student project at ETH Zürich focused on R&D of Hyperloop technology and its practical applications. Hyperloop aims to combine the speed of airplanes with the flexibility of trains by using floating pods in vacuum tubes, enabling high-speed and sustainable transportation by minimizing friction losses. The Swissloop project incorporates magnet-based systems.The SENIS 3D Teslameter is being used in the Swissloop project to measure the magnetic fields of various systems (brake, levitation system, booster, and motor) to evaluate their performance and mutual influence. During the event, ETH student Dominic Gnägi explained how the SENIS 3D Teslameter is being successfully applied, which I was pleased to hear! 😊I was impressed by the brilliant #ETH student team and the entire organization of the project. I was pleased to give a Keynote Lecture at IcETRAN, sponsored by IEEE.In my talk on advanced magnetic sensors and instruments, and their applications in industry and physics laboratories, I highlighted innovative technological concepts that have led to a paradigm shift in Hall-based sensors. These advancements have set the ground for the world-class performance of SENIS magnetic sensors and measurement instruments.I am grateful to the committee for inviting me.
